Ford Service Price Promise: For Life

Sometime in the last five years, car manufacturers decided to take the battle from the car yard to the workshop by starting to offer capped price servicing.

Starting February 2015, Ford's Service Price Promise is covering all passenger cars from 2007 under a lifetime capped price servicing scheme – to ensure customers no longer have to worry about bill shock at service time.

From February 1, customers who have a car built after 2007 (excluding FPV and Transit models) can be assured of the cost at their next service with Ford eliminating hidden fees (such as time-based, one-off charges.) This also includes capped price brakes on selected models, so you know what it will cost you to replace the brakes. Basically, what you see is what you pay.

In addition to knowing how much to save up for service time, Ford Service Price Promise also offers 12-months membership and roadside assistance from your state’s auto club (e.g. RACQ, NRMA) for the first seven services – that’s up to seven years of membership!

This means that in addition to the service at Motorama Ford, you’re safe wherever you go in Australia in a Ford.

Plus, you’re no longer left without a car when it comes time to hand your keys to the service department.

Motorama Ford are offering every customer a free loan car when they come in for their scheduled service from a convenient Fiestas all the way up to a durable Ranger, so you can continue on with everything your have to do in a day. If there aren’t any cars available, Motorama Ford offers customers a courtesy shuttle bus, so you're never stranded.

Motorama Ford’s new guarantees in service come as part of the brand’s commitment to the ‘dealership of the future’ plan, in order to make the car yard a more friendly place for customers – including a suite of apps for customers and sales staff to help the car buying experience easier and take the pressure off customers.

As part of their experience at Motorama Ford, customers will be able to learn about the car via a Smart Drive USB, which will run an interactive test drive via the SYNC entertainment system and, when it comes to taking delivery of their new car, Motorama Ford will offer a more personalised experience, including a “motor show” unveiling of a new car delivery, right down to touches such as having the customer’s radio presets programmed into the entertainment system.
