On a Friday night or even a brisk Sunday morning, the struggle in the city is finding somewhere with a good atmosphere, friendly and attentive service and great food. If you venture down James Street in the Valley, you’ll come across a little place called Vroom Bistro & Café.

With capacity for 120 seats, the alfresco street-side and outdoor settings take advantage of the sub-tropical climate, providing a great all-year-round place to be. Vroom Bistro & Café has been the place to call in for breakfast, lunch or dinner following numerous car events.

After not so long, you’ll realise that car enthusiasts love this place. There’s plenty of parking available and seating that overlooks the car park to admire the cars.

Despite usually arriving in large groups, we found the service to be fast and there are no problems with split bills!   Now let’s talk about food! There’s a brief, yet satisfying menu plus great special menu items for morning and afternoon tea.

I have no doubt in recommending the ‘3 Egg Omelette’ with mushroom & fetta served with sourdough toast.

If you’re looking for dinner, the share plate of Seasoned Calamari can’t be beaten. So next time, call in to Vroom Bistro & Café if you’re looking for a fuel stop of the food kind and to enjoy the city serenity.
